PRC’s Drive-In Movie Event

Road Sign FINAL

Attention all Drive-In Movie lovers! Clear your schedule on August 11, 2017! You will not want to miss PRC’s 2nd annual Drive-In Movie Event at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds. This event, hosted by The Promise Resource Center is sure to be a hit with both children and adults!

This year, they will be showing the hit children’s film Trolls–which was selected by the southern Maryland community on Facebook and announced in this video made by the staff at PRC!

In addition to the showing of the movie on a 40’ theater-sized movie screen and drive-in style parking, PRC’s Drive-In Movie Event will also feature live music, concessions, arts and crafts, exhibits by other local nonprofit agencies, and many other pre-movie activities to create a truly memorable experience for local families.

For only $8 per person, guests will enjoy live performances by John Luskey and DJ Lady! There will also be food concessions offered by I’se Da Bye Fully Stuffed Kitchen & Catering, Nicoletti’s Streetzeria, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Cameron’s Smoothie Shack, and Crabby Popcorn!

Don’t forget to take a photo with Trolls characters Poppy and Branch, get faces painted, visit our sensory friendly room, and jump in the bounce houses before the movie starts at 8:15pm! Doors open at 5:30 and the meet and greet with Poppy and Branch will be from 7:00pm-8:00pm.

Tickets for this event go on sale June 15th and can be purchased here. Children under 4 are free!

Ticket sales and other funds raised will benefit The Promise Resource Center, a nonprofit organization focused on educating parents and strengthening families in southern Maryland. For more information on The Promise Resource Center, please visit their website here. This event is sponsored by Jimmy Hayden, Realtor, O’Brien Realty.
