Thriftbooks: The Place To Buy Inexpensive Children’s Books
Thriftbooks is sweeping the nation with low-cost books for all reading levels.
Are you looking for a specific children’s book but can’t seem to find it in stores? There is a great website called ThriftBooks where all books start around $3.00. Almost all of the books are used but each book’s condition is clear so you know exactly what you’re buying! Shipping is free once you reach a $10 minimum for your purchase (which is easily met when you buy more than 3 books at one time). They even have children’s books catergorized by topics including action, cars and trains, animals and more!
Thriftbooks has the classics by legends like Dr. Seuss and Road Dahl. I bought the entire Harry Potter series (7 large books) for about $23. These books can cost anywhere from $50 to $70 brand new. They have several other popular series like Divergent, Percy Jackson, and The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.
The site also features textbooks starting at $3.59 each for those in school. Make sure you check it out before heading to Amazon and Chegg in search of those pricy books. Because most textbooks only change a few chapterss in each edition, In my experience, the previous edition of the required book is usually sufficient. You might be able to save big bucks going this route!
For some, the library is a sufficient place to find your child’s reading material. If you are one of those people (like me) who misplace books and have to go searching through bookshelves looking for the borrowed one–thriftbooks might be a good option for you. If you’re always late returning books, you will probably ending up paying the same price in overdue book fees that you would for a book on thriftbooks. Now you don’t have to worry about making another trip back to the library! It’s awesome!
